Warranty

The RAM® Mounts mission is simple: manufacture inventive solutions that improve lives. Our reputation as the leader of premier mounting solutions means if we build it, then we guarantee it. If a RAM® component fails because of a manufacturing defect or a lack of quality, RAM® Mounts will repair or replace it free of charge (customer is responsible for cost of shipping).*

RAM® National Products, Inc. Limited Lifetime Warranty

This warranty is expressly limited to purchasers of RAM® products from RAM® or RAM® authorized resellers. The warranty is limited to RAM® mounts and components. The warranty does not include any device mounted or attached to a RAM® mount, such as a phone, GPS, computer or other device. This warranty does not cover any product or part that has been abused, worn out, heated, ground or otherwise altered, used for a purpose other than that for which it was intended, or used in a manner inconsistent with any instructions regarding its use.

This warranty does not cover any product or part that has been misused, abused, shows excessive wear and tear or fatigue, has been subjected to heat beyond ordinary weather conditions, a ground or otherwise altered, used for a purpose other than that for which it was intended, or used in a manner inconsistent with any instructions regarding its use. If a product or part has been discontinued we will attempt to suggest a substitute. If a suitable substitute is not available, the discontinued part is no longer covered under this warranty.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND NATIONAL PRODUCTS INC. MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED AND SOLD BY IT, WHETHER AS TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR ANY OTHER MATTER. No agent, employee or representative of National Products Inc. has any authority to bind National Products Inc. to any affirmation, representation or warranty concerning National Products Inc. products or parts, except as stated herein.

If any product or part manufactured by National Products Inc. is found to be defective by National Products Inc., in its sole judgment, National Products Inc. will, at its option, either repair or replace such defective product or part. THIS REMEDY SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AVAILABLE FOR ANY DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCTS OR PARTS MANUFACTURED AND SOLD BY NATIONAL PRODUCTS INC. OR FOR DAMAGES RESULTING IN ANY OTHER CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATIONS, NATIONAL PRODUCTS INC. NEGLIGENCE. NATIONAL PRODUCTS INC. SHALL NOT IN ANY EVENT BE LIABLE TO ANY BUYER FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER FOR DEFECTIVE OR NON-CONFORMING GOODS, NEGLIGENCE, ON THE BASIS OF STRICT LIABILITY OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON.

There is no upgrade on products, only replacement of defective components.

The purpose of this exclusive remedy shall be to provide the buyer with repair and replacement of products or parts manufactured by National Products Inc. found to be defective in materials or workmanship or negligently manufactured. Please note that the NPI Lifetime Warranty does not cover any electronic components integrated in the RAM® mounting system including but not limited to the USB connector inside of the IntelliSkin®. All IntelliSkin® and electronic products are covered by a 3 year warranty to be free of manufacturer’s defects from the date of purchase. Additionally, certain materials and components are considered general wear items and are not covered under the lifetime warranty. Wear items consist of, but are not limited to, suction cups, foam pads, rubber feet, etc.

How To Make A Lifetime Warranty Claim

1) Take a Digital Photo
Make sure that the mount and the broken or defective section are clearly visible. **
You may upload up to three photos.

2) List Part Numbers
If you can, list any part numbers located on the part. This will help ensure that we provide the correct replacement parts to you. These part numbers usually begin with RMR or RPR.



3) Include Contact Info
Please provide your name, phone number, and email.





4) Shipping Address
Please provide a shipping address.





Notes:

  • * All IntelliSkin® and electronic products are covered under a separate 3-year warranty. Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear over the lifetime of the product. There are no upgrades; only defective components will be replaced. Warranty Information

  • We will replace the broken component only and not the entire mounting system
  • We will contact you for the small USPS shipping charge, which is usually $2.75

Returns & Exchanges

All products purchased from the RAM® website can be returned free within 30 days of purchase. After the 30 day grace period, all returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. If purchased from a vendor or reseller besides RAM®, please coordinate your return with that vendor. (Not sure if you’re in the right place? Call 206-763-8361 or 800-497-7479 for more information). If your mount is defective, do not file a return—you’re in the wrong place! Preparing Your Return

Before you begin the return process, make sure the product you plan to return is in new, resellable condition. Damaged products cannot be returned. RAM® Mounts accepts returns of full mounting systems or individual components. If any component is used, altered, or otherwise not suitable for resale, we cannot accept the component for return. If all product components are in sellable condition, a refund is granted in the amount of the product’s listed price. Shipping charges are not refunded.

How To Make A Return:

You will need:
·       NPI Order ID number from the original shipment (found on original shipping container)
·       Names of specific parts and quantities being returned
·       The product being returned (with all original components, hardware and packaging included)

Next, you need to obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.

Your 7 digit RMA number should look like this: XX-XXXXX 
Write your RMA number clearly on the exterior of the container you are shipping your products in.

Shipping

National Products Inc. strives to process and ship your orders as quickly as possible. Due to the custom nature of our products and fluctuating order volume we cannot guarantee immediate shipping. Therefore, please allow up to 3 business days of order processing time regardless of shipping method. Orders are shipped 8-5 Pacific Time, Monday-Friday excluding major US holidays from Seattle, Washington.

We currently offer UPS Service within the United States. We utilize UPS International Shipping outside of the U.S. Orders shipped to countries outside the U.S. may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and brokerage fees levied by the destination country (import fees) which are the responsibility of the purchaser.
