Once the rod is put in place, would it move as far as positioning of the rod. I am attaching a razor on the other end and would have slight pressure .

Yes, You can reposition once they are in place.
Is this meant to only be bent once or twice or can you switch between say left and right passengers. Or, will this eventually break from bending?

Is there a shorter version this one seems quite long?

The 18" is our shortest flex rod.
When you go and bend flex rod into position that you like, how stiff is the flex rod?

The flex rod typically requires 3-point contact to reposition. Most people either bend the rod over their knee or the edge of something stable, like the edge of a table. It is very stiff to bend and shape.
Whats the flex rod diameter?

The Flex rod has a .5" diameter.
Could the rod be cut down to a shorter size or would that cause a problem attaching the socket connectors?

The flex rod is simply a 1/2" aluminum rod, which can be cut down as needed.
