Started as a one-man operation grew quickly into a leading manufacturer of device and equipment mounting solutions. With over 250 employees, we’ve long outgrown Jeff’s garage, but our “do-it-yourself” origin continues to guide our philosophy today.

Job Description

RAM Mounts is searching for a Director of Sales with the experience to navigate a rapidly growing organization through new challenges and obstacles. Marketing Coordinator - Sponsorships and Partnerships

Job Summary

RAM Mounts is seeking an organized marketer and project coordinator to drive, communicate, and creatively execute a wide variety of initiatives aimed at increasing the presence of RAM Mounts through co-marketing efforts with customers, sponsorships, and partnerships with brand advocates. In addition to coordinating initiatives with external stakeholders, this role is also responsible for internal corporate communications related to product announcements and the progress and planning of marketing initiatives cross departmentally.

This role offers the opportunity to work across many marketing communication disciplines including public relations, social media, blogging, email marketing, website optimization and content marketing. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Specific Duties

  • Manage the day-to-day deliverables for partnerships, sponsorships, and co-op marketing, including weekly outreach to Pro Staff for product reviews, photography, and videos
  • Coordinate with Social and Content Marketing Manager to execute email drip campaigns for lead gen, newsletters, social media posts, and on-site content to gain exposure internally and externally for our partnership efforts
  • Coordinate public relations efforts with partnering organizations
  • Manage publishing deadlines and establish content and media calendars for online and offline content reflected in co-op, partnership, and sponsorship contracts
  • Outreach for link building opportunities related to our partnerships
  • Work with the marketing and sales teams to develop co-op marketing deliverables including optimized web text, literature promotional copy, internal sales tools and presentations, customer testimonial stories, and infographics

Senior Designer - Print & Web

Job Summary

RAM Mounts is seeking a strategic web and print designer to lead our graphic design team in defining, developing and executing creative solutions that help achieve organizational goals. This role is responsible for clearly communicating the RAM Mounts brand identity, positioning and messaging through designs that translate to web, print, email marketing, social media, retail, events, B2B, B2C, internal communications, and packaging. This role is 30 percent print design, 30 percent web design, 20 percent leadership and management, and 20 percent team project management.

As a creative leader of our marketing organization, this role will have the opportunity to establish the look and feel of RAM Mounts branding and bring it to life through the work of their team online and in print. To hit the ground running, the best fit will have a solid background in visual communications, print, digital, photography, branding and typography. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and has three direct reporting designers.

Specific Duties

  • Responsible for delivering art direction and graphic design that meets objectives, seeing all projects through from concept, design, production, completion and delivery
  • Concepts and produces graphics and images for all types of print and digital marketing
  • Drives towards effective project scoping with all stakeholders to set clear expectations
  • Establish the look and feel for various interfaces, including websites and mobile devices
  • Design user-centered interaction models, wireframes or screen mockups

RAM Mounting Systems is looking for a Public Safety/Government account manager with a passion for travel and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have experience selling to law enforcement and government account or experience in the military or law enforcement. No dialing for dollars. At RAM, we exhibit at about 65 trade shows per year, which means you will be traveling 1 – 2 weeks per month throughout the country, the rest of your time will be spent in our brand new facility in South Seattle. Job Description
A National Products, Inc. Inside Sales Representative’s (ISR) job is primarily a customer service function that requires supporting the RAM Mount account management team, in close conjunction with the Sales Manager. Customer interfacing includes requests for quotations, lead times, order placement, expediting, order changes, the building of quotations, writing orders and communicating information proactively back to customers and the account manager. Additionally, an ISR handles the project execution actions and overall coordination of these service activities between NPI and the account management team. The ISR reports to the NPI Sales Manager.

Job Description
The Powder Coat Racker/Loader is responsible for the prepping, loading and racking of aluminum castings before they are powder coated. The Racker/Loader loads aluminum castings onto racks in a timely manner, while checking the castings to ensure quality control. All necessary personal protective equipment is supplied such as gloves, ear protection, apron, and safety glasses. The employee must also be able to occasionally lift boxes that can weigh up to 50 pounds from floor to table. This job requires the employee to be able to stand in one place or bend over for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

The position of Warehouse Receiver/Material Handler is fast paced and requires the worker to retrieve and deliver products correctly. The individual filling this role will work closely with co-workers and supervisors ensuring that all parts are counted correctly and are housed in appropriate locations. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as basic computer knowledge. The Warehouse Receiver/Material Handler must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships. Attendance and punctuality are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify various assembly components by part number.
- Pick parts for restocking in different warehouse locations.
- Work in a time efficient manner and at a productive pace without direct supervision.

Job Description
The position of Assembler/Packager is very repetitive and requires the individual to assemble and/or package products correctly and within time standards which are shown on computer screens and/or paperwork. While performing these tasks the individual needs to visually check components for quality defects and must be able to count the correct amounts of components to assemble/package correctly. The individual must complete paperwork and labels as to what and how many were completed. The individual will need to read part numbers and location ID’s from computer screens to be able to gather components from the warehouse. The individual filling this role will work closely with co-workers and supervisors and must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships.

- Assemble and package parts correctly in a warehouse work environment.
- Use the computer system to read bill of materials.
- Identify various nuts, bolts, screws, washers and assembly components by part number.
- Pick parts in warehouse by identifying warehouse locations using the computer system.
- Complete picking orders and work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Meet time standards given for each assembled and packaged product.
- Meet quality control standards for each assembled and packaged product.
- Use computer to log entries.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Stand on feet all day.
- Perform repetitive tasks.
- Perform basic math skills.
- Attention to detail to meet quality standards.
- Perform basic computer skills: navigate using a mouse and touchscreens.
- Good eyesight: see defects on parts, identify different sizes of nuts/bolts.

The Assembler/Packager position is full time and located in our Seattle warehouse. Entry level candidates start at $12 per hour and candidates with prior experience using a MRP or ERP computer system and working in a picking/packing position may potentially receive higher starting pay. Job Description
The Purchasing Buyer is responsible for sourcing and buying parts globally. This position requires strong communication skills and must have experience purchasing and procuring a variety of materials/components in a MRP/ERP based manufacturing environment. The individual filling this role will work closely with co-workers and supervisors and must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships.

Essential Functions
- Manage day-to-day supplier relationships.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate activities related to the procurement function. Work with vendors to maintain and/or improve service levels as required.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers; proactively seek and evaluate new qualified suppliers.
- Work closely with suppliers to reduce costs of materials and meet quality/delivery requirements.
- Develop relationships with secondary suppliers for redundancy.
- Lead competitive bidding and pricing processes. Review bids and proposals for competitive cost, quality, and facility/customer specification requirements.
- Work with Accounting to resolve invoice and purchasing order variances.
- Maintain a system to evaluate vendor quotations that utilizes appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
- Troubleshoot vendor and supplier issues; work closely with internal and external stakeholders to determine appropriate preventive or corrective actions as needed.
- Understand and support sourcing and purchasing requirements for day to day operations.
- Review standard pricing updates.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to the purchasing function.
- Conduct spend analysis, identify cost saving opportunities.
- Regularly review purchasing agreements to ensure best value and service.
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with vendors.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on the performance of suppliers.
- Maintain documentation for all purchasing decisions.
- Prepare instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications
- Five or more years’ experience in manufacturing supply chain management/purchasing is required.
- Three or more years of buying experience in a Purchasing Department.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP software.
- Excellent working knowledge of forecasting inventory-needs, planning and control.
- Strong understanding and experience with logistics, LTL freight, and related shipping services.
- Experienced and skilled using Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Firm understanding of Purchasing/Inventory/Accounting/General Ledger/Accounts Payable concepts and how they are integrated and work together.
- Candidate should possess excellent communication skills, should be process oriented and results driven.
