RAM Mounts® began in 1992 within the garage of engineer and company founder, Jeff Carnevali. Started as a one-man operation grew quickly into a leading manufacturer of device and equipment mounting solutions. With over 250 employees, we’ve long outgrown Jeff’s garage, but our “do- it-yourself” origin continues to guide our philosophy today.

Job Description

RAM Mounts is searching for a Director of Sales with the experience to navigate a rapidly growing organization through new challenges and obstacles. The goal would be to bring a fresh perspective to our organization that ensures the sales department has a foundation for long term sustainable growth. Top priorities for this role will be development of sales strategy, five-year plan for growth, and foundational team structures, processes and policies.

Inventory Control Manager

Job Description

The Inventory Control Manager works directly with the materials team and other managers in Operations. This role is responsible for managing the team of Material Handlers and ensuring that daily, weekly, and monthly tasks are managed in an efficient manner. The person in this role must understand the breadth of operational processes, so that they can delegate or perform any necessary task.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervising a team of 10-15 Material Handlers and Receiving personnel
  • Monitoring performance of team members, including progress towards departmental goals, employee performance related issues, and annual performance reviews
  • Overseeing inventory counts, ensuring that negative counts are done daily
  • Acting as a point-of-contact for related departments, including production and quality
  • Using creativity and process knowledge to solve problems regarding missing inventory
  • Contributing to continual improvement measures by understanding existing processes and identifying areas for improvement
  • Verifying that receiving and material movement transactions have been performed correctly.
  • Performing inventory reconciliations and research cycle count errors to find the root causes
  • Providing management with reports on the performance of the department.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 4 years inventory/warehousing experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Hands-on knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
  • MS Office familiarity

Job Description

The Materials Manager is responsible for maintaining and reviewing correct data in our MRP system. Creates and follows up on purchase orders and production work orders for the Manufacture of the components and assemblies required to package and ship the finished products. Must be a strong communicator and able to develop and maintain strong working relationships by working closely with employees, supervisors and other departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews MRP to firm planned purchase orders and work orders to production based on customer demands and planned safety stock levels.
  • Works with vendors to keep valid data such as delivery dates, lead times, contact information, etc.
  • Works with vendors on price reduction and quality improvements.
  • Reviews and maintains planning and production data in ERP system, such as current lead times, MOQ’s, safety stock levels, etc.
  • Works with production personnel to help maintain a smooth, continuous flow of materials and components between departments, like reviewing the MRP system to verify that all materials are available when needed.
  • Verifies that transactions have been performed correctly.
  • Performs inventory reconciliations and research cycle count errors to find the root causes.

Job Description

The position of Driver/Material Handler is responsible for transporting product between our facilities in the South Park area of Seattle, as well as assisting the Material Handling team with material requisitions. This is a fast-paced position and requires the worker to retrieve and deliver products with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. The individual filling this role will work closely with peers and supervisors on a daily basis. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as basic computer knowledge. The Driver/Material Handler must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships. Attendance and punctuality are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform multiple daily trips between our production and distribution facilities using a 25,000GVWR truck
  • Assist in loading and unloading of product using pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Backfill other team activities including material requisition and receiving
  • Work in a time-efficient manner and at a productive pace without direct supervision
  • Use computer and/or tablet to log warehouse movements

Cycle Counter/Material Handler

Job Description

The Cycle Counter is responsible for performing regular counts of component inventory based on a Pareto-based classification system. This position will work in all of our facilities, including our warehouse, injection molding facilities, and production floor, working alongside the material handling staff overseen by the Inventory Control Manager. The Cycle Counter will also be responsible for performing periodic counts of parts which can't be found or have been found to be misidentified, and monitor inventory levels for items which are not tracked in our ERP system.

This is a full-time position based out of our Seattle warehouse in the neighborhood of South Park. Warehouse hours are 7:30am to 4pm, though shift flexibility is a possibility after onboarding is complete.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counts on raw materials, packaging materials, purchased components and assemblies on a daily basis
  • Research inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
  • Classify and track inventory discrepancies and relevant reconciliation transactions and report Inventory Accuracy metrics monthly
  • Assist warehouse team in maintaining integrity of inventory management system
  • Conduct searches to locate missing or misidentified parts
  • Perform other counting functions as required by the Inventory Supervisor, including receiving verifications and spot checks, on a daily and weekly basis
  • Communicate and develop process improvement ideas as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; job requires applicants to sit, stand, bend, reach, lift, and move about the facilities

Job Description
The Powder Coat Racker/Loader is responsible for the prepping, loading and racking of aluminum castings before they are powder coated. The Racker/Loader loads aluminum castings onto racks in a timely manner, while checking the castings to ensure quality control. All necessary personal protective equipment is supplied such as gloves, ear protection, apron, and safety glasses. The employee must also be able to occasionally lift boxes that can weigh up to 50 pounds from floor to table. This job requires the employee to be able to stand in one place or bend over for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

The Accountant is a mid-level accounting position that requires an understanding of accounting concepts and the ability to perform organized and accurate work. Emphasis in Accounts Receivable processes (i.e. collections, new accounts, etc.). The individual filling this role will work closely with the accounting team as well as department supervisors and must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships.

The Machine Maintenance Mechanic for the injection molding facility ensures machinery is operating effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: setting quality standards, ensuring standards are met, training and communicating policies and procedures, auditing and analyzing processes, measuring production, reporting results. Must be a strong communicator and able to develop and maintain strong working relationships by working closely with employees, supervisors and other departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installs, maintains and repairs industrial production, manufacturing and process equipment.
  • Examines machines to diagnose trouble, dismantles machines, replaces defective parts, reassembles machines and makes necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation
  • Occasionally makes replacement parts.
  • Under limited supervision and with minimal technical guidance, keeps plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair.

The individual filling this role will work closely with co-workers and supervisors ensuring that all parts are counted correctly and are housed in appropriate locations. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as basic computer knowledge. The Warehouse Receiver/Material Handler must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships. Attendance and punctuality are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify various assembly components by part number.
- Pick parts for restocking in different warehouse locations.
- Work in a time efficient manner and at a productive pace without direct supervision.
- Use computer to log in warehouse movements and part receiving.
- Complete picking orders accurately and efficiently in multiple warehouses.
- Take direction from supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse and receiving processes.
- Produce quality work at a fast pace, standing on feet all day.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and proficiently.

Job Description
The position of Assembler/Packager is very repetitive and requires the individual to assemble and/or package products correctly and within time standards which are shown on computer screens and/or paperwork. While performing these tasks the individual needs to visually check components for quality defects and must be able to count the correct amounts of components to assemble/package correctly. The individual must complete paperwork and labels as to what and how many were completed. The individual will need to read part numbers and location ID’s from computer screens to be able to gather components from the warehouse. Entry level candidates start at $12 per hour and candidates with prior experience using a MRP or ERP computer system and working in a picking/packing position may potentially receive higher starting pay. - Product secondary operations such as trimming, sorting, and assembling
- Receives written and verbal instructions for tasks and orders
- Works at different workstations as job requires

Preferred skills:
- Injection molding and machine setup experience a plus
- Must be able to tolerate standing for long periods of time
