  • NPI is currently seeking an experienced, passionate, highly motivated and organized IT Support Engineer. The candidates' primary responsibility is to provide onsite IT support for a growing organization. Working under the direction of offsite Senior IT Staff, the successful candidate will work to implement IT initiatives, ensure organization and consistency throughout the department and take ownership of all related issues and their resolutions.

    Responsibilities:
    - Maintain PCs, servers, networking devices, printers, and peripherals including configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of IT hardware
    - Install, configure and test new workstations and software
    - Provide onsite assistance and training for company users with day to day pc issues and operation
    - Identify and escalate situations requiring senior level attention
    - Assist in the design process and implementation of computer systems and networks including a number of Point to Point wireless links
    - Maintain and ensure that back-ups on all systems occur and ensure that tape rotation and offsite storage schedule is followed
    - Maintain an accurate and current inventory of installed site software licenses and compliance
    - Administer network virus protection on servers and clients

    Skills and Requirements:
    - Good communication skills
    - Strong technical problem-solving ability
    - Excellent knowledge of Windows (Client/Server) and Office Software
    - Active directory and Group policy knowledge
    - Solid understanding of both wired and wireless networking protocols

  • A National Products, Inc. Account Manager (AM) job is primarily a hybrid of an inside and outside sales role. The job function requires selling or introducing represented products to established clients and/or prospecting for new ones, in close conjunction with the NPI VP of Sales. Customer interfacing includes requests for quotations, lead times, order placement, expediting, or changes, the building of quotations, writing orders and communicating information proactively back to customers. Additionally, an AM handles the project execution actions and overall coordination of these service activities between NPI and its customers. The AM reports to the NPI VP of Sales. Additional duties of proactive outbound sales is another responsibility of this position and will be developed based on the successful candidate’s capabilities.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    - Outbound and inbound account management.
    - Maintaining and expanding the database of prospects of the organization (specifically through telemarketing and Trade Show lead generation).
    - Capturing of accurate and complete information in Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
    - Coordinating with customer service for status on orders from NPI ensuring the delivery commitment to clients is met.
    - Cooperating with NPI VP of Sales to determine strategic approaches for sales.
    - Identify decision makers among the targeted leads in order to initiate sales process.
    - Participating fully in product training sessions, meetings, skills training and professional development classes as required.
    - Handling cancellations or changes in sales orders and communicating the changes with the related departments.

    - Have a passion for web development and with experience developing Ruby on Rails web apps for at least one year
    - A minimum 2+ years of professional programming experience in any language (C#, Java, Ruby, PHP, Perl…)
    - Experience writing Javascript / Coffescript
    - Understand relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
    - Can point to examples of work or projects you’ve contributed to or created (how’s your Github profile?)

  • Responsibilities:
    - Product designs based on customer and market requirements.
    - Generate conceptual design sketches, assembly drawings and detailed drawings for fabrication and sales.
    - Work with machine shops to fabricate components.
    - Assist with development of manufacturing processes and procedures.
    - Assist with new business development through sketches, descriptions and cost estimates.

    Skills and Requirements:
    - BS or above in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
    - 5+ years of industry experience in plastics/metal casting design and production.
    - Experience with 3D CAD/CAM software. Solidworks preferred.
    - Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, vendors and customers.
    - Must be willing to work in a multiple project/multiple deadline environment.
    - Effective communication skills.
    - Manufacturing shop experience a plus.
    - Experience with 3D printer and component prototyping.

    - Injection molding and machine setup experience a plus
    - Must be able to tolerate standing for long periods of time

    - Operating powder coat booth
    - Racking parts to be powder coated
    - Inspection of parts for quality
    - Must be able to tolerate standing for long periods of time
    - Day shift hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday

    Preferred skills:
    - Experience with Wagner Auto Guns a plus
    - 2 Years’ Experience Preferred
